Afectación de las manifestaciones clínicas en la calidad de vida de las personas que padecen TDAH

Abstract

RESUMEN: INTRODUCCIÓN: El trastorno por déficit de atención e hiperactividad (TDAH) es uno de los trastornos más frecuentes en la infancia y adolescencia, sin embargo, puede darse en muchos casos en personas adultas. Se caracteriza por tener varios tipos: inatención, impulsividad e hiperactividad. Actualmente, se desconocen las causas que hacen que se produzca este trastorno, aunque diversos estudios afirman que puede haber varios factores que puedan estar influyendo, como el factor genético, factores neuroquímicos o factores psicosociales. El diagnóstico del TDAH no tiene todavía un tratamiento curativo de forma permanente, sin embargo, si hay tratamientos que hacen que disminuya el porcentaje de los síntomas que padecen mediante tratamiento farmacológico, tratamiento conductual y tratamiento psicoeducativo. OBJETIVOS: Realizar una encuesta a la Asociación Adana para averiguar la afectación de las manifestaciones y poder mejorar la calidad de vida de los pacientes adultos con TDAH. METODOLOGÍA: El estudio llevado es un estudio descriptivo observacional transversal. Este estudio va dirigido a la población mayor de 18 años, que tenga el diagnóstico de TDAH, que formen parte de la asociación Adana y estén dispuestos a participar. LIMITACIONES: Escasez de estudios que permitan seguir la evolución del TDAH a lo largo del tiempo, dificultando la comprensión de la patología y la eficacia en cuanto a intervenciones terapéuticas. Mayoría de estudios centrados en el TDAH en niños y adolescentes y no en adultos. PALABRAS CLAVES: Trastorno déficit de atención, TDAH, calidad de vida, síntomas, adultos.

ABSTRACT: INTRODUCTION: Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is one of the most common disorders in childhood and adolescence, however, it can occur in many cases in adults. It is characterized by having several types: inattention, impulsivity and hyperactivity. Currently, the causes that cause this disorder to occur are unknown, although several studies claim that there may be several factors that may be influencing, such as genetic factor, neurochemical factors or psychosocial factors. ADHD diagnosis does not yet have a permanent curative treatment, however, if there are treatments that reduce the percentage of symptoms they suffer through pharmacological treatment, behavioral treatment and psychoeducational treatment. OBJECTIVES: Carry out a survey of the Adana Association to find out the impact of the manifestations and to improve the quality of life of adult patients with ADHD. METHODOLOGY: The study carried out is a transversal observational descriptive study. This study is aimed at people over 18 years of age, who have the diagnosis of ADHD, who are part of the Adana association and are willing to participate. LIMITATIONS: Short studies that allow to follow the evolution of ADHD over time, hindering the understanding of the pathology and efficacy in terms of therapeutic interventions.
