Maneig de l’estrés i l’ansietat en Pacients Politraumàtics (PPT)

Abstract

RESUM: INTRODUCCIÓ: Donada la incidència de Pacients Politraumàtics (PPT) en els serveis d’urgències de l’àrea metropolitana de Barcelona en els darrers anys s’ha creat el codi PPT. Amb aquest es busca donar una ràpida resposta a les necessitats físiques del pacient durant els primers instants. Tanmateix, la immediatesa amb la qual s’actua, lligada a l’estat de shock del pacient, pot fer que aquest experimenti una sensació de descontrol i desconeixement sobre el seu estat de salut i, per tant, es trobi en un estat ansiós. OBJECTIU: Avaluar si amb la creació d’una nova figura d’infermeria, la qual anomenem infermera informadora, s’observa una disminució objectiva de la sensació d’estrès o ansietat en els PPT. METODOLOGIA I ÀMBIT: Aquest projecte s’ha elaborat seguint un disseny d’estudi comparatiu i experimental prospectiu. En el qual s’han volgut tenir en compte les sensacions del PPT durant la seva estada al box de crítics. Recollida de dades: En primer lloc, es realitza una formació sobre com abordar els pacients PPT a la que serà la nova figura d’infermeria abans d’iniciar l’estudi. Per altra banda, es planteja dividir la mostra en dos grups, el grup cas i el grup control; seleccionats a través de l’aleatorietat simple. Finalment, aquest estudi es durà a terme entre el juny del 2024 i el juny del 2025, ja que és quan es calcula que haurem arribat a la mida de la nostra mostra. ABSTRACT: INTRODUCTION: Considering the incidence of Polytraumatized Patients (PTP) in the emergency services of the metropolitan area of Barcelona, the PTP code has been created. With this code, a rapid response to the physical needs of the patient during the initial moments is sought. However, the immediacy with which the professionals act, linked to the patient's state of shock, can lead to a sense of loss of control and lack of awareness about their health status, and therefore they may experience anxiety. OBJECTIVE: To evaluate whether the creation of a new nursing figure, which we call the informing nurse, results in an objective decrease in the feeling of stress or anxiety in PTP. METHODOLOGY AND SCOPE: This project has been developed following a comparative and prospective experimental study design. In it, we have sought to take into account the sensations of the PTP during their stay in the critical care box. Data collection: First, training is provided on how to approach PTP patients to the new nursing figure before starting the study. On the other hand, it is proposed to divide the sample into two groups, the case group and the control group; selected through simple randomness. Finally, this study will be carried out between June 2024 and June 2025, as it is calculated that we will have reached the size of our sample by then.
