Anticipar el Primer Contacto Piel con Piel: Ensayo clínico aleatorizado.

Abstract

RESUMEN: En la actualidad, uno de los procedimientos más realizados y a la vez uno de los más recomendados por los numerosos beneficios que aporta, es el CPP entre un progenitor y su hijo prematuro. Sin embargo, la realización precoz que respalda la evidencia científica continúa siendo todo un reto en las UCIN. De ahí la necesidad de incorporar herramientas que promuevan este contacto anticipado para aumentar el beneficio de este. Objetivo: comprobar la eficacia de una píldora informativa para anticipar el tiempo de realización del primer CPP.

MÉTODO: el diseño de este proyecto de investigación corresponde a un ensayo clínico aleatorizado doble ciego, de un año de duración, que se realizará en la UCIN de un hospital de tercer nivel con GC (progenitores que reciben información estándar) y GI (progenitores que reciben píldora informativa). La muestra (n=80) consistirá en progenitores que tienen su primer hijo y además es prematuro. Los mismos serán reclutados y aleatorizados mediante tabla de números aleatorios de Excel. Las medidas resultado se obtendrán mediante la determinación de variables fisiológicas, tiempo y visualización de la píldora informativa como variable independiente.

RESULTADOS ESPERADOS: Se espera comprobar si la visualización de la píldora informativa tiene un efecto en las variables resultado, principalmente en la variable dependiente tiempo de realización del primer CPP.

DISCUSIÓN: este estudio persigue mejorar la adherencia de los progenitores y de los profesionales a la realización y por lo tanto anticipación del primer CPP.

ABSTRACT: Currently, one of the most performed procedures, and at the same time one of the most recommended due to its numerous benefits, is skin-to-skin contact (SSC) between a parent and their premature child. However, early implementation supported by scientific evidence continues to be a challenge in neonatal intensive care units. Hence, the need to incorporate tools that promote early contact to increase its benefit. Objective: to verify the effectiveness of an informational pill to anticipate the timing of the first skin-to-skin contact.

METHOD: The design of this research project corresponds to a double-blind randomized clinical trial, lasting one year, to be carried out in the NICU of a tertiary hospital with a control group (parents receiving standard information) and an intervention group (parents receiving an informational pill). The sample (n=80) will consist of parents having their first child, who is also premature. They will be recruited and randomized using an Excel random number table. Outcome measures will be obtained by determining physiological variables, timing, and viewing of the informational pill as an independent variable.

EXPECTED RESULTS: It is expected to verify whether viewing the informational pill has an effect on the outcome variables, mainly on the dependent variable timing of the first SSC.

DISCUSSION: This study aims to improve adherence of parents and professionals to the implementation and therefore anticipation of the first SSC.
