T: Heart failure (HF) requires a continuous and multidisciplinary approach to optimize therapeutic adherence and prevent decompensation. The main objective is to evaluate the efficacy of a 12-month structured educational program, delivered by nurses, in improving adherence to treatment and healthy habits. The methodology is a quasi-experimental study, in which 200 patients will participate, one group will be an intervention group and the other a control group, and a twelve-month structured educational program, given by a nurse, will be implemented. It will be evaluated at four points in time (baseline, 3, 6 and 12 months) by means of the Morisky-Green test and a hospitalization registry. The two groups will be compared using Student's t test, Chi-square and logistic regression. The applicability of this program is easily integrated into routine clinical practice in primary care, where the proximity of the nursing professional allows closer follow-up and better health education. It is expected that this intervention will contribute to a better quality of life for patients, a reduction in the burden of care and the possibility of applying new strategies such as telemonitoring and costeffectiveness analysis. In conclusion, structured health education led by nurses is an effective tool for improving the management of heart failure. In addition to encouraging the active participation of the patient and his or her family and friends in the management of heart failure.es_ES
