Síndrome de Kleefstra: Clínica, valoración y tratamiento psicomotriz

Abstract

Este trabajo realizado dentro del ámbito pediátrico se centra en el Síndrome de Kleefstra, una patología catalogada como rara dentro de las alteraciones genéticas debido a que es muy poco común y por tanto, existe poca evidencia científica. Dentro del marco teórico se describe la patología y la terapia mediante la cual la trataremos; en este caso Psicomotricidad. Por otro lado, en el marco práctico desarrollamos el método de valoración mediante observación indirecta y también con el perfil psicomotor de Picq y Vayer y el tratamiento mediante el método de Lapierre y Aucouturier. El tratamiento ha sido elaborado por las autoras como una sesión práctica fácilmente aplicable en una dinámica de psicomotricidad realizable dentro de una escuela de educación especial. Los objetivos de este trabajo son: dar a conocer la patología, aportar una herramienta terapéutica como es la psicomotricidad que permite al alumno relacionarse con su entorno y con los otros y conocerse a sí mismo.

This project, included in the area of paediatrics, is centered on the Kleefstra syndrome, a pathology which is classified as rare in the group of genetic alterations, due to the fact that there are very few cases and therefore there is very little scientific evidence. In the theoretical part of this project we will describe the pathology and the treatment used, in this case psychomotor education. While in the practice part of the project we will describe the evaluation using indirect observation, and Picq and Vayer's psychomotor profile; and Lapierre and Acouturier's method will be utilized as treatment. The treatment has been elaborated by the authors of this project as a practice session that can be easily carried out in a psychomotor dynamic practiced in a special needs school. The aims of this project are: to present the pathology to the public, and provide a therapeutic tool, which is psychomotor education, which allows the child to connect with his/her surroundings, with others and also to understand him/herself
