Avaluació de l’ús de les Teràpies Complementàries i Alternatives dels professionals d’infermeria d’Atenció Primària de la ciutat de Barcelona

Abstract

INTRODUCCIÓ L’ús de Teràpies Complementàries i Alternatives cada cop és més freqüent en la població, tot i això, a Espanya pràcticament no existeix cap normativa dirigida a regular-les. La professió infermera ha mostrat el seu interès en incloure aquestes pràctiques en les cures infermeres, de fet una part dels professionals du a terme Teràpies Complementàries i Alternatives com a complement en les seves cures, però aquestes pràctiques no estan professionalitzades ni se’n du a terme cap tipus de control. OBJECTIU L’objectiu d’aquest estudi és explorar l’ús de les Teràpies Complementàries i Alternatives en les consultes d’infermeria d’atenció primària de la ciutat de Barcelona. METODOLOGIA L’estudi és exploratori de caràcter quantitatiu. El mètode de recol·lecció de dades que s’utilitzarà en l’estudi serà un qüestionari autoadministrat constituït per dos parts, per un costat, un apartat en el qual s’obtindrà les dades de caràcter sociodemogràfic i per l’altre, un conjunt de 12 preguntes que tracten sobre diferents punts d’interès en referència a l’ús de Teràpies Complementàries i Alternatives en infermeria. La mostra estarà constituïda pels professionals d’infermeria que treballen en els 26 Centres d’Atenció Primària de Barcelona seleccionats a l’atzar que compleixin els criteris d’inclusió i exclusió. 4 CONCLUSIONS En aquest estudi s’espera obtenir dades suficients per conèixer la situació actual de l’ús de Teràpies Complementàries i Alternatives per part dels professionals d’infermeria. Ja que s’evidencia una necessitat de canvi en la dimensió de les cures infermeres on es tingui en compte aquestes teràpies.

INTRODUCTION The use of Complementary and Alternative Therapies is becoming more frequent in the population, however, in Spain there are no regulations headed to regulate them. Nursing has showed its interest in including these techniques in the nursing care. In fact, a part of the professionals carry out Complementary and Alternative Therapies as a complement in their cares, but these practices are not professionalized and haven’t got any type of regulation. OBJECTIVE The aim of this study is to explore the use of the Complementary and Alternative Therapies in the health centres of primary attention in Barcelona. METHODOLOGY The study is exploratory of quantitative character. The data collection method that will be used in the study is a questionnaire self-administered 5 constituted by two parts. On one side, a part in which the data will be related with demographic items, and on the other side, 12 questions related with different sights in reference to the Complementary and Alternative Therapies in nursing. The sample survey will be constituted by the nursing professionals in the 26 health centres in Barcelona randomly selected, that fulfil the criteria of inclusion and exclusion. CONCLUSIONS This study is expected to obtain sufficient data to know the current situation of the use of Complementary and Alternative Therapies by the nursing professionals. A need of change has become important in a nursing care dimension where these therapies are taken in account.
