Avaluació dels coneixements en competència cultural del personal d’infermeria a sala de parts

Abstract

Des de fa un temps enrere els moviments migratoris han augmentat de manera considerable, avui en dia, en la nostra comunitat, podem trobar una gran diversitat cultural. La població immigrant pren importància dins de la nostra societat, ja que un elevat percentatge de la població prové de diferents nacionalitats. Cal destacar que aquesta població majoritàriament és jove, per tant en edat fèrtil, per això una de les àrees sanitàries més demandada és l’àrea de ginecologia i obstetrícia. Aquí és on adquireix especial rellevància la formació en competència cultural del personal d’infermeria que treballa en aquesta àrea. Per aquest fet, creiem que infermeria ha d’estar formada en els aspectes culturals i ha de saber comprendre i respectar a la partera en el transcurs del part, d’aquesta manera afavorirem la relació terapèutica, augmentant la confiança de la partera amb el professional. Dit d’altra manera, creiem que una major formació en aquest àmbit millora substancialment l’atenció a la dona immigrant durant el procés de part.

From few years ago, migration movements have increased so greatly, now a days, in our community, can find a lot of culture variety. The migration population has importance into our society, because a big percentage of population come from different nationalities. Note that this population, mostly is young, so they are in childbearing age, for this, one of the most request healthcare is gynaecologic and obstetric area. Here is where the culture competence of the personal nurse and midwife take an speciality importance. It’s for these, that we believe that nurse have to be formed in culture aspects and have to know understand and respect the women who is having birth, for these reason we have to improve the therapeutic relationship, increasing the confidence of the women with the professional. Put another way, we believed that a more formation in the speciality makes better attention for immigrant women during the birth.
