Crítica de la literatura científica: Prevención de suicidio

Abstract

El suicidio en España se cobra más de 3000 muertes al año. Esta cifra ha aumentado un 22% desde el año 2010. Los datos nos muestran que en 2014, los suicidios volvieron a ser la primera causa de muerte no natural. Además, esta cifra aumentó por cuarto año consecutivo hasta doblar el número de fallecidos por accidentes de tráfico.

Se ha decidido realizar este trabajo, debido al incremento de casos durante los últimos años que es de suficiente magnitud para que se trabaje en planes de prevención antes y después de un intento suicida, ya que en España, todavía no existe un proyecto de prevención de este tipo a nivel estatal.

A pesar de que en ciertas Comunidades Autónomas existen protocolos de prevención y actuación ante ello, este aumento puede ser provocado por los cambios en la hora de registros de muerte por suicidio en los últimos años, y por este motivo es difícil valorar si la prevención es correcta. La falta de protocolos estatales y que no sean centradas el antes de una conducta o un intento, así como una visibilidad, no hace que sea beneficiosa y no ayuda a eliminar los tabúes presentes.

En esta revisión se evalúa la información relevante en cuanto a suicidio se refiere. Para ello, utilizamos las principales bases de datos científicas como Medline, Elsevier, Scielo, Pubmed o Cochrane. Se realizó una entrevista en profundidad con Nerea Jáuregui, enfermera de CASM Mollet del Vallés. También, se obtuvo información asistiendo a CORE Salud Mental, el cual trata la etiología, la intervención y la prevención del suicidio.

Each year more than 3000 people die of suicide. This figure has a risen by 22% since 2010. The data show, in 2014, returned again suicides was the first cause of unnatural death. Moreover, this figure rose for the fourth consecutive year to double the number of deaths from traffic accidents.

It has decided to do this review, because the increase of case is enough magnitude for work on prevention plans before and after the suicide. In Spain, there is not yet a draft prevention of this type statewide.

Although in certain Autonomous regions there exist protocols of prevention and performance before it, this increase can be provoked by the changes in the hour of records of death for suicide in last years, and for this motive it is difficult to value if the prevention is correct. The absence of state protocols and that are not centred before a conduct or an attempt, as well as a visibility, does not do that it is beneficial and does not help to eliminate the present taboos.

In this review the excellent information is evaluated as for suicide it refers. For it, we use the main scientific databases like Medline, Elsevier, Scielo, Pubmed or Cochrane. An interview was realized in depth with Nerea Jáuregui, nurse of CASM Mollet del Vallés. Also, information was obtained assisting to CORE Mental health, which treats the etiology, the intervention and the prevention of the suicide.
