Implementació i avaluació de la teràpia amb cavalls aplicada a persones amb trastorn de personalitat per evitació i per dependència

Abstract

Una persona amb trastorn de la personalitat té una alteració en l’afectivitat, manera de viure i comportar-se. La persona no està acceptada en la seva cultura i no s’adapta a l’entorn. Com que la teràpia assistida amb cavalls és una activitat complementària per a la realització del tractament amb persones amb diferents dificultats motores, físiques o psicològiques, en aquest estudi es valorarà la possibilitat d’aplicar-la a persones amb trastorns de personalitat per evitació i per dependència amb un grau moderat o greu. La implementació de la teràpia assistida amb cavall es basarà en fer un estudi on s’avaluarà una mostra del CSMA de la Corporació Sanitària Parc Taulí on la meitat només realitzarà teràpia cognitivo-conductual (Grup Control) i l’altre meitat ambdues teràpies (Grup Experimental). L’objectiu principal es basarà en millorar el comportament d’aquestes persones a través de treballar la autoestima. Es realitzarà un estudi amb caràcter longitudinal i prospectiu on s’avaluarà la mostra de 160 persones amb el test IPDE (International Personality Disorder Examination), l’entrevista clínica estructurada per trastorns de personalitat de l’eix II del DSM-IV (SCID-II), l’Escala d’Autoestima de Rosenberg (RSES) i el contrast d’informació amb les persones de l’entorn. Aquestes avaluacions es faran durant el transcurs del tractament dels pacients per a garantir una bona continuïtat assistencial.

A person with personality disorder has an alteration in the affectivity, way of living and behaving. The person is not accepted in his own culture and does not adapt properly to the environment. As the therapy assisted with horses is a complementary way of realizing the treatment with people that have different motor impairments, physical or psychological difficulties, we evaluate the possibility of applying it to people with avoidant and dependent personality disorder with a moderate or severe degree. The implementation of the therapy assisted with horse will be based on realizing a study where a specimen of the CSMA of the Corporació Sanitària Parc Taulí will be evaluated. Half of the specimen will only realize a cognitive behavioural therapy (Control Group) and the other half will realise both therapies (Experimental Group). The main objective of the project is improve behaviour of these people through working the selfesteem A prospective longitudinal study will be performed. In the mentioned study, 160 persons will be evaluated with an IPDE test (International Personality Disorder Examination), a structured clinical interview for personality disorders of section II of the DSM-IV (SCID-II), Self-Esteem Scale (RSES) and an information contrasting with the people around them. These evaluations will be performed during the course of the treatment of patients to ensure a continuity of care.
