Proposta programa d’educació per a la salut dirigit a la disminució d’embarassos precoços als adolescents d’entre 12-16 anys a Ciutadella de Menorca

Abstract

L‟adolescència, des del punt de vista cronològic, és l‟etapa que transcorre entre els 10 i els 19 anys, etapa de transició entre la infància i la maduresa, un procés de canvi en el qual sorgeix amb ímpetu el fenomen sexual per arribar a la seva final maduresa. Tot i que es tracta d‟un fenomen de caràcter biològic, en les últimes dècades el món ha patit un increment força important referent al nombre total de noies que han quedat embarassades en un moment o altre de la seva etapa d‟adolescència, la qual cosa suposa un problema de salut pública força rellevant ja que la presència d‟un embaràs en èpoques tan prematures afecta tant la salut de la mare com la salut del nadó. Segueix la mateixa tònica la població diana seleccionada per a la realització de l‟estudi.

El treball es basa en el disseny d‟un programa d‟educació per a la salut per als adolescents de Ciutadella de Menorca que es trobin entre l‟edat dels 12-16 anys, amb el doble objectiu de, per una banda, gestionar la salut afectiva cap al respecte a la pròpia sexualitat i a la de les altres persones a fi de gaudir d‟unes relacions sexuals lliures i, per l‟altra fomentar l‟ús del preservatiu masculí com a principal mètode de protecció enfront de les malalties de transmissió sexual i embarassos no desitjats, reduint o eliminant les barreres psicològiques, socials i culturals que en dificulten l‟ús. Així, la finalitat última de la implementació del projecte d‟educació per a la salut serà la disminució del risc en què es troben moltes adolescents de patir embarassos precoços.

Seguint en tot moment el model PRECEDE propi de la metodologia de qualsevol programa d‟educació per a la salut, el projecte ha comptat amb un treball de camp basat amb la realització d‟un total de set entrevistes, on s‟ha sol·licitat la participació d‟adolescents i experts relacionats amb el tema d‟estudi. Les dades obtingudes de les entrevistes s‟han completat amb una recerca exhaustiva de fonts bibliogràfiques que aportessin dades i ajudessin a justificar l‟elecció del problema d‟estudi en qüestió.

El document ha de servir com a guia i orientació per a potenciar l‟adquisició de coneixements, habilitats i valors referent a la vida sexual i afectiva dels adolescents de Ciutadella de Menorca d‟entre 12-16 anys, per contribuir al seu desenvolupament integral i promoure l‟adquisició d‟hàbits de vida saludable.

Adolescence, from the chronological point of view, is the stage that passes between 10 and 19 years, transitional stage between childhood and maturity, a process of change in which the sexual phenomenon emerges roughly to reach their final maturity. Although it is a biological phenomenon, in recent decades the world has experienced a very important increase regarding the number of women who have been pregnant at one time or another of their adolescence, which represents a quite relevant public health problem because the presence of a premature pregnancy affects both the health of the mother and the baby's. The population selected for conducting the study follows the same veintarget. This project is based on the design of an health education program for teenagers that are between the age of 12-16 years in Ciutadella de Menorca, with the dual purpose of, on the one hand, aim of managing emotional health towards the respect to sexuality and that of others and enjoy free sex and, on the other hand, promoting the use of the male condom as the main method of protection against sexually transmitted diseases and unwanted pregnancies, reducing or eliminating psychological, social or cultural barrier that hinder its use. Thus, the ultimate aim of the implementation of the health education project will decrease the risk that many teenagers undergo early pregnancies.

Always following the model PRECEDE corresponding to the methodology of any health education program, the project has had a field work based on the completion of a total of seven interviews, where there is the participation of adolescents and experts on the topic of study. The data obtained from the interviews has been completed with an exhaustive research of bibliographic sources that provided information and helped to justify the choice of the specific problem of study. The document should serve as a guide to promote the acquisition of knowledge, skills and values regarding the sexual and emotional life of adolescents between 12-16 years in Ciutadella de Menorca, to contribute to their integral development and promote the acquisition of healthy lifestyles.
