La comunicación, de los padres con hijos ingresados en la UCIN, con el personal de enfermería y su participación en los cuidados del recién nacido

Abstract

INTRODUCCIÓN: Para los padres, el ingreso de su hijo en la UCIN es una etapa donde se enfrentan a nuevas emociones y preocupaciones porque se encuentran en un medio extraño y están preocupados por la vulnerabilidad del bebe. Es importante, por tanto, que la comunicación entre ellos i el personal de enfermería sea efectiva y ayude a un clima de confianza, tranquilidad i soporte emocional, para proporcionar cuidados y proporcionar toda la información necesaria para afrontar esta nueva situación. Las preguntas que me hago acerca del trabajo y por el cual quiero investigar acerca del tema es: ¿Qué hacemos para comunicarnos correctamente con los padres? ¿Los padres están satisfechos en la participación en el cuidado de sus hijos en la UCIN? OBJETIVOS : Evidenciar que nos dice la bibliografía sobre la comunicación de las enfermeras con los padres de niños ingresados en una UCIN i verificar la satisfacción de los padres en relación con su participación en el cuidado del recién nacido RESULTADOS : La bibliografía nos demuestra que la comunicación terapéutica entre personal y familia tiene un papel importante para poder establecer una relación de ayuda adecuada. La enfermera es quien a través de la comunicación se relacionará con los padres y establecerá un contacto permanente, constante y directo. La comunicación que se establecerá será empática, asertiva y adecuada. Además, les daremos toda la información que necesiten y los incorporaremos en la participación de los cuidados del neonato. Se ha podido comprobar que con la participación de la familia, en los cuidados del paciente, se pueden obtener resultados favorables para el neonato. Pero las familias necesitan tiempo para procesar la información y apoyo del profesional para afrontar los nuevos retos y tener capacidad para tomar decisiones. The question I ask about work and for which I want to investigate on the topic is: What do we do to communicate properly with parents? Are parents satisfied with participating in the care of their children in the UCIN? OBJECTIVES : Evidence that the literature on the communication of nurses with the parents of children admitted to a NICU tells us about the satisfaction of the parents in relation to their participation in the care of the newborn RESULTS : The literature shows us that the therapeutic communication between staff and family has an important role in establishing an appropriate support relationship. The nurse is the one who through the communication will interact with the parents and establish a permanent, constant and direct contact. The communication that will be established will be empathetic, assertive and adequate. In addition, we will give them all the information they need and we will incorporate them in the participation of the neonatal care. It has been verified that with the participation of the family, in the care of the patient, favorable results can be obtained for the neonate. But families need time to process the information and support of the professional to face the new challenges and the ability to make decisions.
