Programa d’educació per disminuir l’abandonament de lactància materna entre els 4 i 6 mesos en el barri de Cap Pont de la ciutat de Lleida

Abstract

INTRODUCCIÓ : la lactància materna es l’alimentació més antiga que existeix. Tot i així, al llarg del temps s’ha anat modificant tant a nivell cultural o educatiu. Els percentatges de la OMS han disminuït a menys de 6 mesos que seria l’adequat per una bona alimentació neonatal a conseqüència de la incorporació al món laboral de les mares, per la falta d’informació, etc. a més, de la incorporació de nous suplements com la llet artificial de la industria farmacèutica. OBJECTIU : La creació d’un programa d’educació per la salut dirigit cap a mares, pares i familiars per donar suport a la lactància materna. A més, fer educació sanitària a les mares de conceptes teòrics i pràctics de la lactància per amb ella i el seu nadó per tal de fomentar-la. MÈTODE : a través de la metodologia PRECEDE i de la recerca d’informació bibliogràfica dels últims anys sobre la lactància materna i les entrevistes realitzades: llevadora del centre d’atenció primària i la presidenta de l’associació de suport a la lactància materna de Lleida. CONCLUSIÓ : El resultat del programa de salut és augmentar la lactància materna mitjançant les intervencions proporcionades per aquestes mares. Desprès de la realització d’aquest programa de salut en el centre d’atenció primària és imprescindible la creació d’aquests per seguir augmentant el número de mares que alleten amb lactància materna. INTRODUCTION : Breast-feeding is the most ancient way of feeding that exists. However, throughout history it has been modified both culturally and educationally. The WHO percentages have been reduced to less than 6 months, which would be the appropriate period for a good neonatal feeding, due to the incorporation of women into the working world, the lack of information, etc. and the incorporation of new supplements such as artificial milk of the pharmaceutical industry. OBJECTIVE : the creation of an educational programme for health directed towards mothers, fathers and relatives to support breast-feeding. In addition, the programme will include health education for mothers about theoretical and practical concepts about breast-feeding for both themselves and their children in order to promote it. METHOD : using PRECEDE’s methodology and the research of recent bibliographical information about breast-feeding and the interviews that have been done: midwife of the public health centre and the president of the breastfeeding support association in Lleida. CONCLUSION : the result of the health programme is to increase breast-feeding using the interventions provided for these mothers. After this programme in the public health centre the creation of this kind of programmes is essential to keep increasing the numbers of mothers who breast-feed their children.
