Abstract

Cuando alguien está enfermo y a su vez ingresado en un centro hospitalario, la mayor alegría que pueden recibir son las visitas de sus seres queridos, y sentirse acompañado. Gracias a los avances científicos, tecnológicos y farmacológicos; La edad de fallecimiento en el mundo occidental ha aumentado considerablemente, dicho todo esto, son muchas las personas mayores que están acompañados por sus fieles mascotas día a día, considerados para ellos su propia familia. Cuando hay un ingreso la tristeza aumenta si están alejados de sus fieles amigos, mucho más la preocupación de que será de ellos, quién les dará de comer, quien los sacará, estará bien, todo este estrés emocional que sufren los pacientes se refleja en su actitud, en su recuperación en el agravamiento de su estrés. Por lo tanto, hay pacientes que les preocupa la hora de estar ingresado en un centro hospitalario, y esto hace que padezcan ansiedad, preocupación, incluso depresión hospitalaria debido a que no saben cómo estará este ser querido, ya que las leyes aún no se han humanizado lo suficiente con los perros, y con ello está la prohibición de estos en los hospitales, excepto los perros de terapia en algunos de los hospitales que lo practican. Por lo tanto, queremos valorar, si hay alguna diferencia en que los pacientes puedan tener visitas de su perro durante el ingreso hospitalario, y así poder comprobar si existe un beneficio tanto clínico como psicológico. Para ello, se realizará un estudio de investigación cuasiexperimental, con un objetivo descriptivo y de tipo transversal. Se realizará un estudio para conocer la normalidad de las variables y a su vez, se realizará la prueba de Kolmogorov-Smirnov que determinará el uso de pruebas paramétricas o no paramétricas de contraste. Therefore, we want to assess, if there is any difference in the patients can have visits of their dog during hospitalization, and thus be able to check whether there is a benefit both clinical and psychological. For this, a quasi-experimental research study will be carried out, with a descriptive and cross-sectional objective.
