Bateria de pruebas SIMS en futbolistas de diferentes edades

Abstract

Introducción: El estudio de factores de riesgo asociados a las principales lesiones del fútbol, pudieran aportar información interesante como guía en los procesos de intervención. Objetivo: El objetivo de este estudio fue comparar la puntuación total y la obtenida en las diferentes pruebas de la batería Soccer Injury Movement Screen (SIMS) en función de las categorías de edad y edad biológica. Material y métodos: En el estudio participaron un total de 62 jugadores pertenecientes a cuatro equipos de diferente categoría de edad: 18 jugadores del juvenil A, 14 jugadores del juvenil B, 14 jugadores del cadete A y 16 jugadores del cadete B. Los deportistas fueron evaluados mediante las 5 pruebas que contiene la batería SIMS, en el siguiente orden: Anterior Reach (AR) considerando la mejor puntuación de cada pierna después de 3 repeticiones, Single Leg Deadlift (SLDL) teniendo en cuenta un promedio de 10 parámetros, In Line Lunge (ILL) atendiendo al promedio de 8 parámetros, Single Leg Hop For Distance (SLHFD) teniendo en consideración la mejor puntuación de cada pierna después de 3 repeticiones y Tuck Jump (TJ), atendiendo al promedio de 10 parámetros. Resultados: En cuanto a la categoría de edad, no se observaron diferencias significativas en la puntuación total obtenida, sin embargo, en el SLHFD se encontraron puntuaciones significativamente más elevadas en el Cadete B respecto al Juvenil B (p=0.042). Por otro lado en cuanto a la edad biológica, tampoco se observaron diferencias significativas en la puntuación total. Sin embargo, en el TJ, se encontraron puntuaciones significativamente más elevadas en los grupos de madurez muy baja (p=0.001) y alta (p=0.015) respecto a los de madurez muy alta. Discusión: Los principales hallazgos refieren que no existieron diferencias significativas en cuanto a las puntuaciones totales obtenidas en función de las categorías de edad y edad biológica estudiadas. Aún así, en puntuaciones individuales como el SLHFD en función de las categorías de edad entre el Cadete B y Juvenil B, y el en TJ atendiendo a la edad biológica, entre grupos con madurez muy baja y alta respecto a los de madurez muy alta, sí se han encontrado diferencias significativas.

Introduction: The study of the risk factors associated to the main soccer injuries, in order to receive interesting information as a guideline for intervention procedures. Objective: The aim of this study was to compare the proofs of the Soccer Injury Movement Screen (SIMS) battery, between the different age groups and biological age. Material and methods: 62 soccer players from divers’ categories took part in this study: 18 players U20, 14 players U19, 14 players U18 and 16 players U16. The athletes were evaluated by 5 different proofs inside the SIMS battery, in the following order: anterior reach and single leg hop for distance, considering the highest score of the both feet after 3 repetitions with each foot, single leg deadlift and tuck jump, contemplating the average of 10 parameters and in line lunge, attending to the average of 8 parameters. Results: In one hand, talking about age group, there are not significant differences on the final mean punctuation, although there is in SLHFD proof individually, between U16 and U19 (p=0.042). On the other hand, talking about biological age, there are not significant differences on the final mean punctuation either. However, the only proof in which we do find differences, is in TJ, between very low (p=0.001) and high maturity (p=0.015) groups in relation to very high maturity group. Conclusion: The main finding refers that there weren´t significant differences concerning the final mean punctuation according to the different age groups and biological age. However, on individual punctuation like SLHFD in age group, between U16 and U19 there were. In addition, there was also in TJ in biological age, between very low and high maturity groups in respect of very high maturity group.
