Revisión bibliográfica sobre la humanización de los cuidados de Enfermería en los servicios de urgencias hospitalarias

Abstract

RESUMEN: INTRODUCCIÓN: Humanizar los cuidados tiene la finalidad de considerar de manera global al paciente y tratar de ofrecerle una asistencia integral con calidez, que responda a las dimensiones psicológica, biológica, social y espiritual. En los Servicios de Urgencias Hospitalarias existen varios factores que dificultan que los Cuidados de Enfermería sean humanizados; los más habituales son la falta de estructura física o mala organización de ésta y la falta de planificación de personal, recursos y materiales. Ésta última, provocan una sobrecarga laboral en Enfermería que acaban realizando unos Cuidados de Enfermería deshumanizados y despersonalizando a los pacientes. OBJETIVO GENERAL: Identificar la importancia de la humanización de las intervenciones de Enfermería que pueden contribuir a mejorar la calidad asistencial en el servicio de urgencias hospitalarias. METODOLOGÍA: Revisión bibliográfica de artículos científicos consultando las bases de datos PubMed, sCielo, CINAHL y The Cochrane Library Plus entre noviembre de 2020 y marzo de 2021 con límite en los 10 años anteriores, incluyendo los idiomas español, portugués e inglés. No se hicieron restricciones respecto al tipo de estudio. RESULTADOS: Se seleccionaron 25 artículos, los resultados de los cuales se clasificaron en función del concepto de humanización de los cuidados de Enfermería, de los hechos que pueden impedir la misma y de las estrategias para lograrla. DISCUSIÓN: todos los estudios seleccionados son unánimes en la visión de la humanización en la atención sanitaria. Existen determinadas dificultades para lograrla entre ellas la organización de las instituciones sanitarias y la formación y práctica de los profesionales. ABSTRACT: INTRODUCTION: Humanizing care has the purpose of considering the patient globally and trying to offer him a comprehensive care with warmth, which responds to the psychological, biological, social and spiritual dimensions. In emergency service there are several factors that make humanized nursing care difficult, the most common are the lack of physical structure or poor organization of it and the lack of planning of personnel, resources and materials. The last causes a work overload in nursing that ends up performing dehumanized nursing care and depersonalizing patients. COURSE OBJECTIVE: To identify the importance of the humanization of nursing interventions that can contribute to improving the quality of care in the hospital emergency service. METHODOLOGY: Systematic review of scientific articles consulting the databases PubMed, sCielo, CINAHL and The Cochrane Library Plus between November 2020 and March 2021 with a limit in the previous 10 years, including the Spanish, Portuguese and English languages. There were no restrictions regarding the type of study. RESULTS: 25 articles were selected, the results of which were classified according to the concept of humanization of nursing care, the facts that can prevent it and the strategies to achieve it. DISCUSSION: all the selected studies are unanimous in the vision of humanization in health care. There are certain difficulties in achieving it, including the organizations of health institutions and the training and practice of professionals.
