Equilibri i coordinació en infants d’entre 6 i 8 anys: anàlisi d’un programa de psicomotricitat

Abstract

RESUM : INTRODUCCIÓ: El trastorn del desenvolupament de la coordinació és una patologia molt prevalent en la població infantil però a la vegada està infradiagnosticada. La pròpia evidència mostra la insuficiència del sistema sanitari per abordar tots els efectes que provoca aquesta patologia de manera efectiva i unificada. OBJECTIUS: Conèixer els efectes sobre l’equilibri del pla d’intervenció basat en la psicomotricitat en una mostra d’infants sense trastorns associats, de la mateixa manera que valorar els efectes sobre la coordinació i estudiar la seguretat del pla d’intervenció. DISENY: Estudi pilot d‘intervenció no controlat abans-després. Inclusió voluntària de participants d’entre 6 i 8 anys amb l’equilibri i coordinació conservats i sense cap patologia associada. La intervenció proposada té una duració d’un mes amb dues sessions per setmana. MEDICIONS PRINCIPALS: Equilibri (PBS), coordinació (TUDS) i efectes secundaris. Valoració al dia 0 (excepte els efectes secundaris), dia 15 i dia 30 RESULTATS: No s’ha pogut realitzar la intervenció proposada a causa de la situació sociosanitària actual. No obstant això s’hagués esperat que els resultats fossin estadísticament significatius (p<0,05) o clínicament rellevants amb tendència positiva. A més s’esperava que hi hagués millora en els resultats de les escales utilitzades i que no aparegués cap efecte secundari durant la intervenció. CONCLUSIONS: La intervenció proposada mostraria l’eficàcia i seguretat en el tractament de l’equilibri i coordinació en infants. Les futures investigacions hauran de centrar-se en la comprovació d’aquest tractament en infants amb patologies associades com el TDC. ABSTRACT : INTRODUCTION: Coordination development disorder is a very prevalent pathology in the child population but at the same time is underdiagnosed. The evidence shows the insufficiency of the health system to address all the effects caused by this pathology in an effective and unified way. OBJECTIVES: To know the effects on the balance of the intervention plan based on psychomotricity in a sample of children without associated disorders, in the same way as to assess the effects on coordination and study the safety of the intervention plan. DESIGN: Intervention pilot study. Voluntary inclusion of participants between 6 and 8 years old with the balance and coordination preserved and without any associated pathology. The proposed intervention lasts one month with two sessions per week. MAIN MEASUREMENTS: Balance (PBS), coordination (TUDS) and side effects. Assessment on day 0 (except side effects), day 15 and day 30 RESULTS: The proposed intervention could not be carried out due to the current socio-sanitary situation. However, the results were expected to be statistically significant (p <0.05) or clinically relevant with a positive trend. In addition, it was expected that there would be an improvement in the results of the scales used and that no side effects would appear during the intervention. CONCLUSIONS: The proposed intervention would show the effectiveness and safety in the treatment of balance and coordination in children. Future research should focus on testing this treatment in children with associated conditions such as CDD.
