Estudio cualitativo de la autopercepción en niños con obesidad

Abstract

RESUMEN : El objetivo del estudio es analizar cómo afectan las opiniones y los tratos del entorno en la autopercepción de los niños con obesidad actualmente. Para esta investigación se plantea un estudio cualitativo con enfoque fenomenológico, realizado mediante entrevistas individuales semiestructuradas a niños de entre 6 y 12 años obesos del colegio CEIP Rosselló Pòrcel. La información obtenida permitirá crear intervenciones para proporcionar una mejor atención tanto a los niños obesos y adaptarlas a personas obesas con distintas edades, a su vez, este estudio nos posibilitará crear intervenciones de educación sanitaria para formar a la población sobre la obesidad con la intención de reducir los estigmas sociales. ABSTRACT The aim of the study is to analyze how the opinions and treatment of the environment affect children’s self-perception on children with obesity nowadays. For this research, we propose a qualitative study with phenomenological focus, conducted through semi-structured individual interviews with obese children aged between 6 and 12 years from CEIP Rosselló Pòrcel. The information obtained will allow us to create interventions to provide better care both to obese children and adapt them to obese people of different ages, in turn, this study will allow us to create health education interventions to educate the population about obesity with the intention of reducing social stigma. As well, the approach of this study opens up other lines of research, making it possible to increase the knowledge of related issues.
