Com viu el professorat la mort i el dol del seu alumnat

Abstract

RESUM : Els professors i les professores són persones clau en el moment de donar suport als alumnes que han patit una mort propera, i també quan l’escola pateix la pèrdua d’un nen. La mort i el procés de dol són experiències universals que tard o d’hora s’hauran de viure. L’objectiu d’aquest estudi és saber com el professorat viu la mort i el procés de dol del seu alumnat. Es tracta d’un disseny qualitatiu fenomenològic, amb mostra de 10 participants. La recollida de dades es fa mitjançant l’entrevista semiestructurada, on el criteri per finalitzar-la serà el de saturació. PARAULES CLAU: Professorat, dol, nens, escoles, final de vida.

ABSTRACT : Teachers are key people when it comes to supporting students who have suffered a near death, and also when the school suffers the loss of a child. Death and the grieving process are universal experiences that sooner or later will have to be lived. The objective of this study is to know how teachers experience the death and grief process of their students. It is a qualitative phenomenological design, with a sample of 10 participants. The data collection is done by means of a semi-structured interview, where the criterion for its completion will be saturation. KEY WORDS: school teachers, grief, child, schools, terminal care.
