INTRODUCCIÓN: La ansiedad preoperatoria pediátrica conforma un fenómeno frecuente que
afecta entre el 65-80% de los niños que son sometidos a cirugía. Dicho fenómeno puede
llegar a generar repercusiones negativas tanto a nivel emocional como clínico, teniendo
un impacto no solo en la salud del propio paciente y su entorno familiar, sino que también
en el equipo sanitario a la hora de asumir el reto de identificar e interpretar este malestar
